User Privacy
At CTRL, we champion user privacy. Our goal is to create a secure and transparent environment for our users.
Here are some key aspects of how we prioritize and protect user privacy:
No KYC or AML requirements: As we never custody user funds, CTRL does not require users to undergo Know Your Customer (KYC) or Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures. This ensures a frictionless and non-intrusive experience for users, without compromising their privacy.
Minimal data storage: Our goal is to only store the essential data needed to provide users with the richest possible experience. This includes wallet holdings and personalization preferences, but we always strive to minimize the amount of data we collect and store.
Transparency and control over data: Users can easily view the data we have collected about them, and we are opt-in rather than opt-out when it comes to sending anonymized data analytics to help drive platform improvements. This gives users control over their data and allows them to make informed decisions about sharing their information.
Custom RPC and enhanced privacy options: In the future, we plan to offer users the ability to set their own Remote Procedure Call (RPC) settings and route traffic through the TOR browser or VPN. This will provide an additional layer of privacy for users who want to further protect their online activities.
One-click profile data erase: CTRL is committed to giving users control over their data. This also means one-click profile data erase option that allows users to quickly and easily delete their stored information from our platform. (Although we hope we can convince you to stay.)
By emphasizing user privacy and offering a range of features to protect and empower our users, CTRL aims to create a trustworthy and secure environment for managing and trading crypto assets.
